There are two types of fitness equipment: active and passive.

Active gear increases the intensity and duration of exercise, while passive equipment is used for stretching and strengthening exercises.

Weight training machines

They provide an intense workout for large muscle groups in the body, such as the chest muscles (pecs), upper back muscles (lats), as well as arms (biceps) and legs (quadriceps). They offer a variety of exercises to work for different muscle groups or alternate between sets with other activities. These machines may include free weights like barbells or dumbbells or devices that use cables to provide resistance.

Here are some of the most popular types of fitness equipment:

– Free weights provide a good balance between weight and muscle building.

– Machine weights: these are often used for strength training, but they can also work for cardiovascular workouts.

Resistance bands are used to work out muscles without adding weight or bulkiness to them. In addition, They can be portable and easy to carry around in your bag or purse.

– Treadmills provide a good cardio workout and can be a great way to lose weight if you use them regularly. Also, They allow people with chronic illnesses like arthritis or asthma to find suitable exercise for their case.
